Thinky stuff: Silent Hill Homecoming... worth a go?

I need a horror game to scare me. FEAR 2: Project Origin looks naff. Apparently the A.I. is the old-school triggered-by-player-movement kind, as opposed to being dynamic and whatnot, which is naff in this day and age. Besides, haven't had a proper go on a Silent Hill before, so this could be a worthy entry into the series.
