Click on the program's taskbar icon once, hold that click and slowly drag up.

Earning Money at Home
Earn money at home using your computer Blogging. We're not talking huge money here, but every little bit helps.
It takes a lot of work to make a profitable blog, and I'm far from an expert on this. I'll probably never be an expert because other aspects of my life are far more important to me.
But I will say this--the whole idea of making money through a blog is just super-cool to me. Maybe I'm just easily amused. Be Sure to Leave Your Comments! Blogging Tips on bringing more traffic to your Blogs
There are probably people out there who want to read your blog--maybe thousands of them. How do I know this? Think about it—at any given moment, there are millions of people online. Chances are, some of them are interested in what you have to say (or write, or post). I’m assuming, of course, that you are posting high quality content.
But what if you have no advertising budget for your blog? No problem! Here are some free methods you can use to get more traffic to your blog.
1. Social Networks:
Most of you are members of social networking sites (such as myspace, facebook, friendster, etc). If not, you should be. This is one of the easiest ways to get your core group of readers started. Just announce your blog or post your updates in shout-outs, bulletins, etc. Those in your network already have some kind of connection to you (even if they are just “chat mates”), so many will take the time to read your blog.
2. Blog Directories
If you look down on the right side of this blog, you’ll see all of the blog directories I’ve registered with (such as blogcatalog.com).
Blog directories help you in a couple of ways. Your blog will get hits from those searching the directory (especially from other members of the directory). In addition, adding your link to a directory helps improves your blog’s ranking in search engines (SEO).
Most directories only require a reciprocal link or banner. The registration takes a few minutes, but it is a worthwhile investment of your time. Once you get registered and put the banner on your blog, the work is over. The directory does the rest—most of them will list your recent posts in the directory.
3. Forums/Message Boards
There are multiple online forums for every imaginable topic. Find a few that are related to your blog’s topic and join. Many forums allow you to put your blog address in your “signature.” Many allow you to post links, especially if you post an article that is related to the discussion. Just be sure to follow the forum’s rules and do not flood it with irrelevant links.
4. Entrecard
Entrecard is basically a banner exchangeservice. You earn nd use credits which are used to buy banner ads on other users blogs....

What is Bing? Using Bing Search Engine
One of the most important tools for blogger is search engine. It is really very important for each of blogger. There are so many efforts that Bloggers do to get into first page in Search Engine Result Page (SERP) for targeted keywords. And luckily, this most important thing could be optimized by free. Right now, the biggest search engine in internet world is still Google, then followed by Bing (Microsoft) search engine in second place, and in third place is Yahoo search engine. Blogger usually only use these three search engine for their blog traffic source.
My assumption above may be wrong but that is what I do for my blog regarding to search engine at least. Of course I already use these entire three search engine as tolls for this Online Knowledge blog but I will only share what I do in Bing (Microsoft) search engine in this article. There are three things that I already do in Bing (Microsoft) search engine for this blog, which are:
Submit Blog URL into Bing
It is first step that I do for faster blog indexing in Bing (Microsoft) search engine. I go to Bing site submit page and submit my blog URL in submit form. It is more likely to introduce this Blog with Bing (Microsoft) search engine, so Bing (Microsoft) search engine can include this blog in index list. It is really easy. I only need to fill my URL blog and then click “Submit URL” button.

Google seeks New Browser, News must Read
Google Inc is challenging Microsoft Corp with its own Web browser that lets users run many applications that once worked only when installed on local PCs, executives said on Tuesday.
Google introduced a public trial version of its new browser software, Chrome, which is designed to handle not just text and graphics, but more complex computer programs.
Chrome, available in 43 languages in 100 countries at www.google.com/chrome, has been designed to download software and Web pages faster than existing browsers. It even allows users to keep working when one of its windows crashes.
This represents Google's long-anticipated head-on attack on Microsoft and its Internet Explorer, which has three-quarters of the Web-browsing market. Google has backed Mozilla Corp's Firefox browser, which holds about 18 percent of the market.
Google engineers and executives call Chrome a "fresh take on the browser," a 15-year-old technology that is supplanting 25-year-old desktop software as the basic way users interact with computers.
"You actually spend more time in your browser than you do in your car," said Brian Rakowski, group product manager for Google's browser project.
Chrome was seen by analysts as partly a defensive move due to Google's fear that the recently upgraded Internet Explorer 8 (IE 8) could be used to lock out Google. Google's core business of Web search and related advertising depends on browsers.
A Microsoft executive said IE 8 gives users control over how and where they navigate, improves their day-to-day browsing experience, and keeps people safe from new security threats. Be Sure to Leave Your Comments! Source: Reuters

Making Money from Blogging
I thought you all would find this post interesting it shows how PayPerPost is real picky and has lots of rules about blogs and if they have to many ads they will not accept you this is why I still say Smorty Post is the best one to sign up and write articles for they pay you good money and even give you several days after you choose which ad you want to write about to think abut what you want to write and you choose the ads that pay the most its great> Smorety POst is easy to get into and does not have all those ;picky rules I advise all of you to go and click on the banner below and check it out and this is if you want to earn some fast easy cash just for writing about as ad you chose. I joined and you also get a chance to write several posts after you finished one. SO go now after you read this and click on the Smorty banner underneath this post. Now You all can read this Post written by Mommy Mia about PayPer POst................."Well, I started this blog with the intentions of trying to make some money. I have signed up with PayPerPost to do some paid posting and have gotten one whole opportunity to blog about. But then I just started and it takes time to get things going!! Most pay to post sites require your blog to be open for 90 days with consistent posting to qualify. PayPerPost only requires that your blog be open for 30 days. As we speak, PPP is going through and auditing blogs to see if they contain quality content. No one that I have talked to understands what they mean by "quality" content. Are they looking at the posts or the overall appearance of the blog? Several of my friends seem to be removing all of their ads and widgets from their pages because several of the removed blogs had quality posts and a lot of other widgets and such on their pages. I am not going to do remove mine as I feel like it is my blog and I am trying to make a few dollars and if I remove my ads-then what is left when I have only gotten one post from PPP? I know a lot of others have been with PPP for a while and have made pretty good money from them. But if PPP is removing bloggers due to too many ads on their pages and not removing them for poor post content then the advertisers are going to wonder where PPP's priorities are. If I were an advertiser-I would want quality posts as opposed to a naked blog with nothing on it. If PPP removes blogs due to other advertisements and the widgets that someone elects to put on their pages-then it would appear to me that PPP is monopolizing the blog for their own monetary gain. I may get removed from PPP for posting this-but I am just posting an opinion which is what blogging is all about. I plan to sign up for more companies as I go along as I am a stay at home mom and have to get some income from somewhere. Anyways, just thought I would share my thoughts on this subject. If someone from PPP reads this-I would welcome some feedback as to what is considered a "quality" blog and what criteria you require in order to keep a blog in your system.
Edited to add: I have since seen the criteria they are looking for and I wholeheartedly agree with the way they are doing things. They are trying to remove the blogs that are too cluttered with too many widgets and ads, background music (which is annoying to me too) and they are looking at the consistency of the posts-are they regularly posting, keeping sponsored posts separated by other posts so that it is not just one sponsored post after another, whether the posts are actual posts and not just nonsense, etc. Way to go PPP-get rid if some of the junk blogs!!

How does Web-Hosting Work ?

Dedicated web hosting is basically renting a whole server solely for your use (dedicated). It is much like having your own server but the biggest difference is you do not need a large initial investment to set it up. Dedicated web hosting comes in two forms. Managed and unmanaged.
Commonly, unmanaged hosting plans include hardware, operating system, web server and Internet connection. Managed plans however include the basics and pretty much everything else that the only thing you need to worry about is your web site and content.
Knowing this, you should carefully review your organization’s setup to see if you have the financial & physical resources to manage your servers. For most organizations, the higher monthly cost of a managed plan works out to be more cost effective overall. There would be occasion an unmanaged plan works best. In these scenarios the organizations already have a good support department but would rather not have hardware and certain software maintenance concerns.
Without needing to share space & resources you gain many benefits. Your web page will run better and faster because resources are used to serve only your web site and you can optimize the server and database for your web site. Another benefit of server customization is you get to install and run the programs that your web site needs, not re-programming your web site to fit the server.
You also have full access to storage, which is certainly a perk for a growing web site. Managed dedicated hosting customers also generally enjoy a better level of service. Many web hosts assign a personal representative who also supports a handful of other accounts. Managed plan customers get the freedom to build the web site the way they want it without having hardware, operating system, certain software, middleware, security, Internet connection, backup, power backup, staff, casualties & loss prevention even insurance responsibilities.
Part 2
Hardware & Connection
As with choosing the operating system or software, hardware requirements depend a lot on your web site’s current and future needs. We’ll give you some good basics to look for.
Processor Type
Intel is recommended for large web sites because it’s emits less heat. You should choose Celeron for small web sites and Pentium 4 for medium web sites. Dual Xeons are highly recommended for high traffic web sites to give you the processing power; more so if your web site uses a lot of server side scripting. On the average, processor speeds of 2 to 2.4 GHz are good choices.
Memory
Your server should have at least 512MB of memory for serving up your pages in a reasonable time. If your web site makes heavy use of server side programming languages (PHP, CGI, ASP) we highly recommend a 1024 MB minimum and high traffic web sites should have 2048 MB and thereabouts.
Hard Drive
Between IDE and SCSI hard drives, most would like to have a SCSI drive. They are very robust, and use little if no processor power making them very fast; an ideal situation for anyone but the cost is prohibitive. If budgets permit, an 18 GB SCSI hard drive is very sufficient for most. If you choose IDE, choose a 7200-RPM drive with about 40GB of storage. You might wonder why you need so much since your shared hosting plan only has a fraction of that and you still have left over space. Do not forget, with a dedicated server, you need space for software to run your web site. In a shared environment that software space is owned by the web host and not added towards your hosting plan.
Part 3
Estimating Bandwidth
Web hosts calculate your usage using one of these three methods. Per use, capped, or 95% use. Each one is quite different so be sure you understand your requirements versus the method used in the plan. You’ll need to first understand the basics. Data transfer is measured in bits or bytes. Here’s a simple equivalents chart:
8 bits (b) = 1 byte (B)
1024 byte = 1 kilobyte (kb)
1024 kilobytes = 1 Megabyte (MB)
1024 Megabyte = 1 Gigabyte (GB)
Data transfer is the measure of bits or bytes traveling over time. So, if you are told 1 Mbps it means 1 Megabyte is being transferred in one second. If your hosting plan has 600 GB per month you can transfer as much as 600 GB of data in one month.
To calculate usage, your host relies on usage reports such as Multi Router Traffic Grapher (MRTG). The report shows your web site’s average incoming and outgoing traffic. The following formula is then applied:
( Monthly Average incoming + Monthly average outgoing data ) /8 x 60sec x 60min x 24 hrs x 30.5 days = Total month’s bandwidth
Per Use Method
In this method, a web host calculates your usage in a month and bill you the price per Gigabyte, Megabyte or Kilobytes. Some web hosts charge in blocks of 10 or 100.
Capped Method
Using this method, your web host will allocate a certain amount of transfer a month. If you exceed it, your web site will either be inaccessible or is considerably delayed. While this sounds like a bad option, most use this method because it’s a fixed cost. You should get the plan with a little more transfer than you expect to use.
95% Method
In this method, your web host looks at your total bandwidth usage for the month. The top 5% of use is discarded. The remaining 95% of will be used to calculate your usage. If you have occasional usage spikes, this might be a good method for you because the peaks will not be calculated.
Knowing this, you need to go back to your current web host’s control panel to find out what your average use is. Add on a certain percent for growth you expect, and then look for a plan matching those requirements.
Part 4
Choosing A Dedicated Web Host
Having a dedicated server is expensive and not as easy to migrate as a shared server environment. So making sure the host is right is ever more important. Some of the utmost concerns you should have when choosing a dedicated web host is of course the company reliability and support. You should expect better, more responsive support than a shared web host. You shouldn’t settle for anything less than 24 x 7 telephone support preferably toll free. Find out how quickly the average response is in the event of hardware, connection or certain software failure. If they never had a failure, do they have a contingency plan in place? Check their network reliability. Verify information, as best you can; don’t take the web host’s word at face value. Take your time, ask around and talk to their customers.
If purchasing a managed plan, ensure server monitoring is included and your web host stays on top of security patches. Try to stay away from long term contracts and choose a month to month option at least until you know how satisfactory the web host is going to be.
Ask this pertinent information about your plan before signing up:
What it costs for additional storage space or transfer
What it costs for additional IP addresses. How many does it come with
What it costs for memory upgrades
Is there an uptime guarantee
What method is used to calculate bandwidth
Is there a money back guarantee
Dedicated hosting and other high-end plans are more profitable for the web hosts; so web hosts have the tendency to accommodate you. Negotiate and you might end up getting additional IP addresses or setup at no cost. Source: Askwebhosting.com

2.Keep videos secure and private – Employees can securely share videos with select coworkers or everyone at the company without making confidential information public.

Google Ad Manager Service

I’m about to fly out of Austin but thought I’d post a link to a story that broke this morning on the official AdSense blog - they’re releasing a free Ad Manager service.
I’ve been sitting on this story for a few weeks and even got a sneak peak at it and I think it’s going to fit with the needs of quite a few medium to larger bloggers who want more control over their ad serving. It’s able to be used with a variety of ad networks as well as your own direct sales of ads.
“If you operate a site with remnant ad inventory as well as reserved ad inventory that you sell directly to advertisers, then Ad Manager is for you. It can help you sell, schedule, deliver, and measure directly-sold and network-based inventory. Google Ad Manager offers a wealth of features, including an intuitive user interface, automated yield optimization, and proven Google speed and reliability.”
The service offers:
Inventory management
Yield optimization
Ad targeting
Trafficking, ad delivery, and order booking
Creatives and rich media management
Reporting
User interface navigation
Account administration
You can learn more about their Ad Manager and apply to be in the beta here.

What is gravatar?
What is a gravatar?
A gravatar, or globally recognized avatar, is quite simply an avatar image that follows you from weblog to weblog appearing beside your name when you comment on gravatar enabled sites. Avatars help identify your posts on web forums, so why not on weblogs?
Stay up to date with The Gravatar Weblog
How do I get a gravatar?
Signing up for a gravatar.com account is FREE, and all that's required is your email address. Once you've signed up you can upload your avatar image and soon after you'll start seeing it on gravatar enabled weblogs!

How do I get gravatars on my weblog?
Setting up gravatars on your weblog is easy, you don't even need an account! Plugins are available for leading weblog software, and our tutorials will have you running gravatars in no time. To request a gravatar from our servers, you simply add an image to your comments area with an "src" attribute that points to our gravatar image generator and includes an MD5 hash of the commenter's email address. Since all gravatars are rated with an MPAA style rating, you can restrict your site to show only gravatars whose content you are comfortable with.

Do not link with "Click Here"
Do a Google search for click here. What you’ll find is around 1.7 billion (yes billion) instances in Google’s database where website owners have used “click here” as linked text on their website. Let me guess, that includes you, right? I know I do it often without thinking
But click here is seldom the best option for linked text. Take a look at these two examples:
To find out more about how I can help you grow your business, click here or
Find out more about how I can help you grow your business. Which link tells you, as the site’s visitor, where you’ll go when you click the link? Isn’t it clearer in the second example that the link will lead you to how I can help you grow your business?
This may seem like splitting hairs a bit. But really, it’s not. Here are reasons to use descriptive linked text rather than click here: Clarity - Descriptive linked text makes it much clearer where the link will you while click here basically just offers the command - click here. There’s no real clarity of why you’d click here or where you’ll end up.
1.7 billion instances on websites that are using click here. Is that really what they’re hoping to rank for?
Readability - Isn’t it simply nicer to read content where the links have been crafted into the content rather than breaking it up with the old click here?
I suggest, however, not making a habit out of it. Use terms like ‘click to continue’ or ‘read on’ sparingly and only when you really need too. Otherwise, let your visitors know where they’re heading when then select a link.
So, how are you using click here. And what’s your overall in content link strategy?

Forget 10 tips to generate traffic to your sites. These FOUR Tips will do it!!
Building quality backlinks is an important to improve your blog, or website for that matter.
It is important process for the success or failure of a site.
What is a backlink?A backlink is a link from another website to yours.
Why do I need backlinks? Backlinks are important for a number of reasons:
They can increase traffic to your website.
They are an important factor when Google assigns Page Rank.
They help to improve your ranking on search engine results pages.
Submitting your sites to directories can be used to build backlinks.
Directory Submission
Submitting your blog to directories should be one of the first things you do to kickstart your link building efforts.
It is unlikely you’ll ever see any significant traffic from directories, but that’s okay. The purpose here is to gain backlinks to help increase your PageRank.
There are both general directories and blog specific directories. Seeing as this process can be quite monotonous I’d suggest starting with the blog specific directories and if you don’t run out of steam move on to the general directories afterwards.
Note: Make sure you only submit to directories with high PageRank.
Alot of directories require a reciprocal link, meaning they will only list you in their directory if you link back to them from your blog. It is generally better to stay away from these sorts of directories.
Here are a few directory lists to get you started:
Blog Directories
General Directories
Free SEO Friendly Directories
High PageRank/Non-Reciprocal Directories
For those of you who would rather not plug away at their computers all day you can find plenty of people on the Digital Point forums who offer directory submission services. It comes at a price of course, but most of them are pretty reasonable.
