Yes, more obligatory Left 4 Dead 2 news. Although I've pretty much stopped playing this game eons ago, it is necessary to continue talking about zombies because ... well, zombies DUH.
Not much more to say about the upcoming new L4D2 DLC called The Passing other than that it is well on its way out of Valve's very slow game-release bowels (wordplay!). A couple of videos below showing the L4D2 survivors going through the motions.
Valve didn't want to reveal just yet how the L4D1 survivors will meet up with the ones from L4D2 but Chet Faliszek does mention a finale of epic proportions including all 8 survivors.

Honestly speaking, this looks like mighty good fun. As bleak as a zombie apocalypse should be, and lots of nooks and crannies to explore. I realized that daytime zombie shooting in L4D2 is just not as scary as the night time shenanigans in the first one. Also, new uncommon common infected type (always a mouthful to say) - a survivor turned zombay. Can drop medkits apparently. And a new shooty gun that proves to be quite awesome. Just wotch.

Coming some time in March. And oh! They haven't forgotten L4D1. New DLC for them in the works too.
